Pakington Street, Newtown

The client objective for this project was to extend the commercial element of the southern end of Pakington Street further south to facilitate a new retail and office development. The project involved both strategic and statutory planning as the area needed to be rezoned to an appropriate commercial zone, and subsequent planning permits were also necessary. The site also presented a range of complex survey issues including road closure and adverse possession.
