Moolap Coastal Strategic Framework Plan

Our Senior Town Planner Brendan O’Loan has been contracted to the State Department of Environment, Land Water and Planning since February 2016 as the Senior Project Officer for the Moolap Coastal Strategic Framework Plan. This plan aims to produce a land use plan and implementation framework for the Moolap study area which includes the Alcoa Point Henry site and the former salt works.

Utilising information from land owners and other Government stakeholders, Brendan produced the Background Report July 2016 and was involved in the preparation of the Discussion Paper July 2016 both of which can be found at www.haveyoursay.delwp.vic.gov.au/moolap.  Brendan was also actively involved in stakeholder engagement information sessions.

Brendan’s latest task has been project managing the feasibility and impact assessments including organising and running workshops and briefing the Cross Government Project Steering Committee. The next few months will be exciting as Brendan will be writing the draft Moolap Plan and implementation framework due for release in late 2016.
